FAQ
Frequently asked questions
The questions we're asked most often about selling and buying TAG Heuer 2000 series watches. If yours isn't here, get in touch.
Do you buy TAG Heuer 2000 watches that are scratched, broken or not running?
Yes. We buy TAG Heuer 2000 series watches in any condition, including heavily scratched cases, cracked crystals, missing bezels, worn bracelets and watches that don't run at all. Just be honest about the condition in the form and include photos of any damage.
Do I need the original box and papers?
No. We regularly buy watches without a box, papers or receipts. If you do have them, let us know, as they can add to the offer.
How quickly will I get an offer?
We aim to reply to every submission with an offer within 24 to 48 hours. Clear photos of the dial, caseback, bracelet and any damage help us make an accurate offer first time.
How do I get the watch to you?
You can post it to us by insured delivery, or meet us in person in Bristol. Once you've accepted our offer, we'll agree the details with you before you send anything.
How and when do I get paid?
We'll confirm exactly how and when you'll be paid when we send your offer, so you know what to expect before you post or hand over your watch.
Where do I find the reference number?
On most TAG Heuer 2000 series watches the reference number is engraved on the caseback. Our guide to finding your reference number shows where to look and how to read it.
What if the watch isn't as described when it arrives?
We'll talk it through with you. If the watch differs from the photos and description, we'll explain what we've found and either revise the offer or return the watch to you.
Are you connected to TAG Heuer?
No. 973 Watch Co is an independent business and is not affiliated with or endorsed by TAG Heuer.
Can I return a watch I've bought from you?
Yes. If you buy online or by phone you can cancel within 14 days of receiving the watch under the Consumer Contracts Regulations. Our terms of sale explain how returns and refunds work.
Can I reserve a watch before buying?
Yes. Use the enquiry form on any listing and choose "I'd like to reserve this watch". We'll reply by email to confirm how long we can hold it for you.
